Enrolling at Townview State School
Families enrolling at Townview State School should organise an enrolment interview after completing the school enrolment forms. All enrolment forms must include evidence of birth date (i.e. birth certificate). Evidence is required for all Prep enrolments and all enrolments coming from overseas, interstate and/or the private/catholic sector. It is not required for students in Years 1 to 6 who are transferring from a Queensland State School. Please ensure that any relevant medical information (i.e. health action plans) and/or current custody papers that the school may need to be aware of are also brought to the interview.
To book an enrolment interview, please contact the school between 8am-3pm.
Enrolment packages can be obtained through the administration office or below:
We look forward to welcoming you into the Townview community.

Uniform policy
At Townview State School, we believe that students taking pride in their appearance, reflects pride in their school. The Uniform Policy is endorsed and strongly supported by the school’s P & C Association. Students in school uniform are to be clean, well dressed and well groomed at all times.
At public functions and on educational visits the uniform creates a favourable impression that reflects on the school and its pupils. A child willing to cooperate in the wearing of a school uniform is usually helpful in all other matters. It is desirable that each child has at least one uniform which can be used on visits away from the school or on special occasions.
The wearing of jewellery is not allowed in some situations due to safety concerns.
School uniform
Our school colour is maroon. School polo shirts with the Townview State School emblem are available from the school Tuckshop. Sports polo shirts are also available from the Tuckshop and are worn on Fridays and at school Sports Days.
Students wear maroon shorts (cotton/polyester or open weave basketball type) or skirt/skort as appropriate. Girls can wear shorts or skorts for physical education classes and other sports activities.
Hats must be wide brimmed as we are a “Sun Safe” school. Visors, caps and inappropriate slogans or pictures are not permitted. Lace-up or Velcro closed in shoes are to be worn whilst on school grounds and for all sporting activities.
All uniforms are available from the tuckshop at a reasonable cost.
Year 6 uniform (Year 6 shirt)
Once the Year 6 Shirt has been issued, the Year 6 children are permitted to wear the shirt on days stipulated by teachers.
Responsible behaviour plan
Townview State School is committed to providing a safe, respectful and disciplined learning environment for students and staff, where students have opportunities to engage in quality learning experiences and acquire values supportive of their lifelong wellbeing.
We aspire, as part of Townview's nurturing of a supportive school environment, to develop within children increasing levels of self-resiliance enabling them to behave appropriately and to problem-solve interpersonal conflicts with minimal/appropriate adult intervention.
