Our dress code is supported and endorsed by the school’s P&C association. Parents enrol students at Townview State School on the understanding that the school uniform will be worn at all times (except in the case of a designated free dress days). This is because:

Uniform for girls and boys
Maroon shorts worn to the knee or just above.
Maroon school shirt or house sports shirt (senior commemorative shirts as an alternative for year 6).
Appropriate closed in black footwear (leather school shoes or joggers).
White socks.
Broad brimmed hat with school emblem.
All uniform items should be free from logos, brand names or writing other than school issue, undershirts in white only.
Jewellery, hair, body art and make-up
The wearing of jewellery at Townview State School is limited to;
A plain wrist watch
Small studs or sleepers
Small signet ring
A medical disc bracelet with approval from administration.
Hair style and colour should be simple, sensible and safe (not overtly attention drawing).
Hair accessories are to be maroon, black or white and modest.
Students should not wear make-up, visible body art or nail polish.
